Your C.A.A.B. Keeps Moving Ahead

By Doug Wyckoff, Chairman

“Your Creative Agent Advisory Board continues to be an increasingly more valuable component to Creative’s strategic planning process. The direct line of communication from the field to the home office has greatly aided us in shaping our future to meet the agent’s needs.”
- Mike Tripses, President, Creative Marketing

The Creative Agent Advisory Board (C.A.A.B.) is now entering its third year as a direct voice from the field to the home office. The success of their unique contribution has been easy due to the executive team’s willingness to listen and respond to what you, the customer/client, really need. We feel that this continues to enhance the relationship between Creative’s home office and you and your world.

C.A.A.B. has taken a highly proactive posture at our Agent Conventions, Learn to Earn, and by simply talking to so many of you about issues and ideas that you wish to bring to Creative’s attention. In 2009, the board served as “first responders,” reporting information to Creative on the needs of agents, carrier issues, product concepts and the business climate that we face on a daily basis. The board members served as a special welcome committee at our Aruba Convention for first time attendees. C.A.A.B. also played a very active role at Learn to Earn 2009. Since the idea was C.A.A.B.’s initially, the members remain huge boosters of this program. Additionally, C.A.A.B. participated as a test market forum for new initiatives that Creative was entertaining. Many of the programs that you are now seeing emerge from Creative were first viewed by the agents serving as board members and won their support.

As we move into 2010, the C.A.A.B. group will add additional perspective on the vision of what Creative Marketing needs over the course of the next two to three years. In the ever-changing business environment for insurance products and services, being able to respond intelligently and meaningfully is vital to providing the critical services that add value to our relationship with agents.

If you are attending this year’s Creative Agent Convention in Atlantis, be sure to seek out a C.A.A.B. member and let them know how Creative is doing for you. We love to hear the positives, but also welcome your constructive criticism and new ideas. If you are going to be attending this year’s convention as a “first time attendee,” you will receive a personal introductory letter from your C.A.A.B. representative, and that person will seek you out when you arrive to make sure that your time at convention will be extra special. We want every first time attendee to feel right at home with our group.
